What Is an End-Of-Life-Doula?

 

We can provide companionship, comfort care, and guidance to those facing terminal illness or death. We offer non-medical holistic emotional, spiritual, and physical support when people are impacted by a life-changing illness, after a terminal diagnosis, when death is imminent, or even after a death to help with light grief support.

How I can serve you, your family & your loved ones

Session Pricing

We offer a few different options and decisions are based on appropriateness and Client wishes, and will be made in consultation with the Client.

 

The list of services is broken down into the anticipated periods of service and the kinds of activities appropriate at those times. The period identified as "Pre-Vigil" represents the time before the dying person has entered the final days of life. This period may last anywhere from hours to weeks to months. The second period, called "The Vigil," occurs when the dying person is actively dying; it may last hours to as many as 10 days or beyond. The final period, referred to as "Post-Vigil," occurs after the death, when the Doula might work with the family or friends for an agreed-upon number of sessions.

 

  • Free 20-minute phone consultation

  • First in-person Visit, 1.5 hours: $95.00 

  • Vigil Sessions: $85.00/hour

    • Longer sessions available during vigil, pre-arranged by client

  • Pre & Post Vigil Sessions: $65.00/hour

Available daily by phone or text from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

Travel & Mileage Charges to Client: $.53/mile from Sturgeon Bay,Wi

 

 

  • Pay in Full at the signing of the agreement

  • Pay Half at the Signing of the agreement and the Second Half at any point prior to the start of the vigil
     

We accept cash or check.

 

Please note that sometimes clients may wish to increase our services or the frequency of visits. That may require an extra charge, which will be discussed at that time.
